BELLE Vue gave all-conquering Poole a shock with a richly deserved 50-40 victory in the first leg of their Knockout Cup tie at Kirkmanshulme Lane on Monday. The Aces were never behind in a close match which provided the most thrilling racing of the season.Captain Hans Andersen led the way with 12 points but fellow Dane Ulrich Ostergaard, who has just rejoined the club, stole the glory with a barnstorming ten-point display. The return leg is on July 21.Aces' team boss Chris Morton said: "We have been asking for real team displays and that's what we got. We were happy to beat a strong team like Poole by ten points but we were disappointed it wasn't more after such a great effort."
