Force India's Vitantonio Liuzzi has been penalised for impeding Williams’s Nico Hulkenberg during today's qualifying for Sunday’s British Grand Prix.
As a result Liuzzi, who had qualified in 15th, will now start the race from 20th.
“We thought that we had to keep Nico behind and I didn't realise he was on a hot lap,” Liuzzi explained. “From there it's not going to be easy but there are overtaking spots here at least, plus the incentive of racing in front of our home crowd.”
Renault’s Vitaly Petrov, Toro Rosso's Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari, Lotus’s Heikki Kovalainen and Virgin’s Timo Glock will all move up a place on the grid.
