Motors TV September Highlights

  FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP The High Speed Television channel has a host of special programmes to give viewers the complete picture of the World Rally Championship:  three one-hour highlight programmes on each day of the rally.

In September, on the island of Hokkaido, the Rally of Japan makes its comeback to the calendar after a one year absence. The event is held on gravel roads with several forest-based special stages.

Round 10, Japan:Day 1 – Friday 10 September at 5pm and 10:20pm.Day 2 – Saturday 11 September at 5pm and 10:20pm.Day 3 – Sunday 12 September at 5pm and 10:20pm. MX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - LIVE Motors TV broadcasts every round of the MX1, MX2 and Women’s MX (WMX) World Championships live and exclusive.

September marks the end of the season with events at Lierop in the Netherlands and Fermo in Italy. It’s also the last chance for Frenchman Marvin Musquin and Italian Antonio Cairoli, reigning champions in MX2 and MX1 respectively, to ensure they retain their crowns.

The World Motocross riders will then head to the United States to compete in the Motocross of Nations, a national team competition where the world’s best represent their countries, live on Motors TV.

Motocross of Nations: Sunday 26 September from 9pm. FIA GT3 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP - LIVEThe FIA GT3 European Championship heads to the south of Portugal and the circuit in Portimao for the fifth and penultimate round of the season. With prestigious marques such as Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin and Corvette on the grid and balanced performance ensured by the regulations, the races, both of which are live on Motors TV on Saturday and Sunday, are always spectacular.

Round 5, PortugalRace 1: Saturday 18 September – Live at 1.45.Race 2: Sunday 19 September – Live at 11am.WORLD SERIES BY RENAULTEvery meeting of the World Series by Renault is a popular festival of motorsport, with Motors TV bringing viewers highlights of the three main categories, Formula Renault 3.5, Formula Renault 2.0 and the Eurocup Megane Trophy.

Hockenheim: Sunday 12 September at 6.30pm.Silverstone: Sunday 26 September at 6pm.AMA MOTOCROSS September is a big month for fans of motocross! As well as the World Championship rounds and the Motocross of Nations, Motors TV brings coverage of three rounds of the American (AMA MX) championship, the most competitive in the world.

Both classes (Open and Lites) are featured on the channel.

 British Tractor Pulling – The world’s most powerful motorsport returns to Motors TV as the British Tractor Pulling series and its myriad classes takes centre stage.Saturday 4 September at 5pm.

British F3 International Series – The fight to win one of the most prestigious junior single seater titles in world motorsport heads to the high-speed Snetterton in Norfolk.Sunday 5 September at 8:10pm.

Dunlop Great & British Festival – Action from the Mini Challenge, CSL Cup, Autosport Young Guns, Radical UK & Clubmans Cups, Sport Max Trophy and more as the UK’s best grassroots motorsport festival and heads to the UK’s fastest circuit, Thruxton.Saturday 11 September from 6pm

British GT Championship – Aston Martins, Porsches, Ferraris, Ascaris and Lamborghinis visit Snetterton for a crucial double-header in the UK’s premier GT-racing series.Sunday 12 September at 8:35pm.
