Round 4: Cadwell Park, July 17-18

James O’Reilly, Paul Platt and Sam Moss shared the top step of the podium during round four of the MSA British Superkart Championship at Cadwell Park. Reigning title holder O’Reilly headed race one from the first turn onwards, with title rival and 2008 champion Jason Dredge just two seconds in arrears at the finish. O’Reilly then led early on in the second battle but slipped to an eventual third place behind Moss and race victor Platt.Platt appeared to be on course for his second win of the weekend in race three but suffered a cruel retirement on the final tour. Moss thus inherited the lead and duly took the chequered flag ahead of Adam Underhill and Dan Clarke.
