Bruno Senna ready to return at Hockenheim

Bruno Senna is determined to put in a strong performance at the German Grand Prix this weekend, after sitting out the last round of the Formula One World Championship at Silverstone.

The Brazilian is ready to race at a circuit where he has plenty of experience and success. Bruno achieved a podium in the GP2 sprint race in 2008, as well as fourth position in the feature race, and impressed with his pace at Hockenheim while testing for the Mercedes-Benz DTM team in early 2009.

Speaking on Monday from Spain, where he was karting as part of his regular pre race training program, Bruno looked forward to the race weekend: "I really like this track; there are plenty of high speed straights and some overtaking opportunities, like on turns two and four, so I believe we can be competitive with the other new teams and I’m looking forward to a good battle.

"Downforce is not so important here as it is at Silverstone or Barcelona, for example, but there will be plenty of focus on good traction out of the corners and getting the brake balance right. The stadium
