Barrie Parker earned his first MSA British Car Trial Championship victory of the year at the Gerry Evans Cymru Trial. Parker excelled early on in wet conditions to open up a decisive Class lead over Duncan Stephens. Bill Moffatt won the Highly Modified Class from John Ludford, while Dave Thomas took the New Car Class in his Suzuki.
