Rounds 21 & 22: Wiscombe Park, July 25
Trevor Willis secured victory in rounds 21 and 22 of the Nicholson McLaren MSA British Hill Climb Championship at Wiscombe Park to deny Martin Groves his 100th win. Despite having to wait a little longer before reaching his century, Groves has extended his slender championship lead to three points over Scott Moran. Meanwhile the surprise of the weekend was Oliver Tomlin, who took a career-best third place in round 21 behind the free-scoring Chris Merrick.
