(SPEEDWAY 1)ISG has been appointed as preferred contractor for the development of the Belle Vue Sports Village in East Manchester.The construction services company will work with AFL Architects on the new facility whose proposals include a National Speedway Stadium and Academy as well as basketball, rugby and leisure facilities.Manchester City Council, in partnership with Belle Vue Aces and England Basketball, are now in the process of preparing the projects planning application.Cllr Jim Battle, Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council, said: Every milestone towards Belle Vue Sports Village is a step closer to realising the potential of this area.
