Herberth Motorsport’s #10 crew of Hong-Kong racer Antares Au, Ralf Bohn, Loek Hartog and Joel Sturm piloted their Porsche 911 GT3 R to the Pro-Am win as well as finishing in the top five of the gruelling Michelin 24H DUBAI at Dubai Autodrome as the 2025/26 24H SERIES MIDDLE EAST season drew to a close.
The squad advanced into the top ten shootout on Friday evening, ensuring they lined up tenth overall and third in the Pro-Am class. At the race start, Hartog once again produced some stunning overtaking manoeuvres, moving up to second on the opening tour of the Dubai Autodrome. The quartet spent the majority of the enduro battling towards the front end of the field, wrapping up fifth overall as well as the Pro-Am honours.
Herberth Motorsport managed to make it a 1-2 in class as the #269 Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Max Moritz, Florian Spengler, Vincent Kolb, Sven Müller and Alfred Renauer delivered an excellent performance, finishing eighth overall.
Additionally, the #92 Pure Rxcing and #14 Razoon – More Than Racing cars also clinched top ten finishes for the marque, crossing the line sixth and ninth respectively.
Current GT World Challenge Asia drivers’ champions Bo Yuan and Leo Ye were joined by Deng Yi, Artur Goroyan and Roman Mavlanov in the #87 Origine powered by CC Porsche 911 GT3 R for this event. After a tricky start to the twice-around-the-clock enduro they came back through to claim fifth in the GT3 Am-class.
Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver Enzo Trulli took on his first-ever 24-hour race with EBM, alongside Porsche Drivers Dorian Boccolacci and Alessandro Ghiretti as well as 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Masters titleholder Adrian D’Silva. The #61 Porsche 911 GT3 R suffered contact in the opening hours of the race, but the squad battled back showing strong pace to advance through the field. However, with 419 laps completed, they were forced to retire due to a technical issue.
In the all-Porsche 992 category, Porsche Carrera Cup Asia regulars Francis Tjia, John Shen and Christian Chia were joined by Benny Simonsen and Philippe Descombes for Modena Motorsports. They showed strong pace in Qualifying, putting the #216 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) eighth on the grid in the competitive 16-car field. In tough and unrelenting conditions, the quintet delivered solid laps around the Dubai Autodrome to finish sixth in the Am-class.
Enzo Trulli, EBM: “It was an incredible experience to work with such a professional team like EBM and drive the Porsche 911 GT3 R in my first ever 24-hour race. Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish the event, but we showed great team spirit and were fast throughout the night, which is a positive to take. Working with Dorian, Alessandro and Adrian was amazing as I learned so much from them. Thanks to Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific for this brilliant opportunity and I’m determined to work hard to be able to return and win this race.”
Dorian Boccolacci, EBM: “This was my first visit to Dubai Autodrome and I really enjoyed competing in the 24H DUBAI. It was great to work with Adrian and Alessandro again as well as driving alongside the new Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver Enzo. It was a pleasure to be with all of them and the EBM crew, and I felt like we improved the car throughout the event. After losing time in the opening stages, we showed great pace especially during the night but unfortunately had to retire after 18 hours. It was disappointing to not reach the finish line but the experience we all gained from the enduro was very positive.”
Alexandre Gibot, Managing Director Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Ltd.: “It’s good to see four Porsche entries in the top ten, including Antares and Herberth Motorsport delivering another strong showing to secure the Pro-Am victory. We are also happy that Enzo managed to race in his first-ever 24-hour enduro, which was a great experience for him especially being alongside drivers like Dorian, Alessandro and Adrian. Origine powered by CC and Modena Motorsports also managed to secure solid finishes in their respective categories as the 2025/26 24H SERIES MIDDLE EAST campaign concluded, and we are sure that we will return next season to fight for stronger results.”
